JRB eAlert! HEADS UP 7(a) LENDERS: NEW SBA FORM 1919 IS HERE! START USING IT!!

Here’s SBA’s updated Form 1919, reflecting the Criminal Justice Final Rule on Background Reviews. It won’t be on SBA’s website for a while because it needs to be formatted for online use by sight-impaired readers. In the meantime, SBA has advised lenders to go ahead and use the new Form 1919.

What’s Changed: SBA has updated Question #4 on page 2 to reflect the Criminal Justice Final Rule. There’s also a new Borrower Certification on page 4, authorizing SBA to release information about existing SBA loans to the lender processing the loan application.

SBA announced the updates to SOP 50 10 7.1.and Form 1919 on May 31, 2024 in SBA Procedural Notice 5000-857477.
